How Callstead handles data

Your tool data

JSON files and pasted content are processed in your browser's memory. The checker does not upload them, connect to your MCP server, or store them in cookies or browser storage. Clearing inputs or closing the page discards the application's in-memory copy. Downloads you choose to save remain on your device.

Website requests

The hosting provider processes ordinary connection information, such as IP address, requested path, browser information and timestamps, to serve and protect the website. This is separate from your tool files. Callstead currently has no advertising tracker, session replay, analytics beacon, or account system.

Optional email

The feedback link opens your email application. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it. Email is processed through our email service to respond to your request and assess product demand. Do not send credentials, personal customer data or confidential recordings. We use feedback for the request you submit, not automatic marketing enrollment.

Optional public feedback

GitHub feedback links take you to a public issue tracker. Issues, account names and comments you choose to post are visible on GitHub and handled under its policies. We read feedback to diagnose problems and assess product demand. Keep customer data, credentials and private tool definitions out of public reports. The checker sends no files to GitHub. After a check, you may optionally prepare a summary containing the product version, aggregate result counts and your declaration of whether the data was fictional, synthetic or from a workflow you use. Tool names, individual findings and payloads are excluded. Nothing leaves the page automatically. After reviewing the exact summary and selecting the sharing checkbox, opening the GitHub draft sends that summary in the link. It becomes a public issue only if you submit it on GitHub. These voluntary reports help us assess usefulness; they do not enroll you in marketing.
